Inherent to his lineage, a fascination for the mineral world was crystallised during a foundational residency in Istanbul. It is here, among master artisans, that his work is meticulously realised—translating the ethereal into the permanent medium of precious gems and metals.
Cosendai draws his primary inspiration from the now and its fleeting eternity. It is both in the city and the wild that he finds nourishment, the kind of stillness where silence is loud.
His practice is an eternal choreography of beauty and harmony; a physical extension of his lifelong immersion in meditative states. From initial conception to final realisation, this contemplative rigor allows him to decode abstract forms and manifest them with a profound serenity—a frequency infused into every jewel he creates.

Surrounded by crystals from birth, his fascination for the multi-faceted realm of precious gems and metals was ignited during a year-long residency in Istanbul, where some of his first collection, Metamorphosis, is crafted.
Léo finds inspiration where it all started: nature. It is in the wilderness of lands like Turkey, Northern Africa, India and Arizona that he finds pockets of time and space where noise is distant, and signal is resonant.
His work is an eternal search for beauty, coupled with an appreciation for stillness. Meditation plays a key role in Léo's life. From conception to realisation, it allows him to see things differently, and actualise them with serenity, which is infused into each jewel he brings to life.
